RJ Kaneao is an award winning Recording Artist, Producer and Session Guitarist who’s played and/or recorded with many amazing A-list musicians and artists.
He's now signed to recording and distribution deal with Sony Music Global & Dark Star Records. To date (2018-2019) RJ has recorded 5 solo albums dating back to November of 2000. Four island reggae albums that has made him a pioneer in the genre innovating with new recording styles, techniques and sounds. His 5th album “Genres of Soul” (RJ’s first full length Blues album) is an award winning album with a Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award (Hawaii’s Grammy Equivalent) for R&B album of the year and was also on the 1st Prelim Grammy Ballot/Nomination for “best traditional blues album of the year” for 2019.
He is also an endorsed artist/guitarist with some of the world biggest and best guitar, musical and recording gear companies in the world.
